LEXINGTON, Kentucky (August 10, 2022) — Summer parking enforcement on the University of Kentucky campus ends Friday, August 12, meaning summer parking permits will no longer be valid after that date.

Starting Saturday, August 13 through Sunday, August 21, Kroger Field Periphery (K) lots, R19 lots, and Remote (X) lots will not be checked for parking permits. These lots are temporarily removed from control during this time to facilitate student move-in. These lots will return to regular parking enforcement on the first day of classes, Monday, August 22.

Residential (R) parking areas will be checked for lot-specific permits beginning Saturday, August 13. These include: Rose Street Garage (R2), Cornerstone Garage (R5), Sports Center Garage and Complex Drive (R7), R10, R11, R12, R13, R14, R15, R17, R18, R29, R30 and R34. Residential lots are checked for permits 24 hours a day, seven days a week during the school year, unless otherwise specified.

Commuter (C) parking areas (C5, C7, C9 and C10) will require lot-specific parking permits starting Monday, August 15.

please look this card for more details on student parking and check-in times.

As a reminder, employee batches are checked for employee permits all year round.

With the end of summer parking enforcement, the Rose Street Garage (PS#2) and Sports Center Garage (PS#7) will also return to regular permit enforcement beginning at 5am on Monday, August 15. Parts of these structures are traditionally made available to any valid UK permit during the summer when parking demand is lower. As of August 15, these structures will revert to authorized permits only.
