Obituary of Sheila Lavigne (1936 – 2021) – New Boston, NH

Sheila Mary Lavigne, 85, of New Boston, recently lost her courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, October 9, surrounded by her loving family. Sheila was born in Swanton, Vermont, to the late Charles and Mildred Quebec.

Sheila enjoyed the time she spent traveling with her husband Roy Lavigne (deceased) where she was able to enjoy her passion for photography. In her career as a dressmaker, she has brought happiness to others through her bespoke wedding dresses and personalized crafts. Sheila’s pride was in her family where she shared her passion for photography by displaying their photos throughout her home. The simplest pleasures in life brought her great joy, she enjoyed quiet dinners with family and friends and the company of her beloved pets.

Sheila is survived by her stepchildren; Sydney O. Lavigne (spouse: Jane), John Lavigne (spouse: Cindy), Randy Turgeon; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her cat Jack.

She is also survived by three sisters; Thelma Long, Lola Jettie, Carla Cahill (spouse: Tom) and previously deceased by her first husband Joseph Turgeon.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 23 at 2 p.m. at the New Boston Cemetery. For more information or to sign an online guestbook, please visit www.frenchandrising.com
