Lake Havasu City Transit Announces Launch of DIRECT Service

Lake Havasu City Transit is proud to announce the launch of its DIRECT service. DIRECT is the new local connection to work, home and other destinations in the city of Lake Havasu.

On Monday, September 13, Lake Havasu Transit began the smooth launch of its second transit service named DIRECT. This service can be requested and paid for using the Uber app on your smartphone and passengers who wish to use DIRECT would choose “Lake Havasu City Transit” when choosing their ride option in the app.

Coverage of the current DIRECT area is the south and center of town while the north side of Lake Havasu Town (Area 3) is expected to see coverage begin by October 8. Display DIRECT LHC transit areas.

The fare for DIRECT is $ 3.00 per person in the zone, if your trip takes you to another zone, the maximum fare is $ 5.00. Currently, during the gradual launch, the hours of service are from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. The city expects the hours and areas to expand in a few weeks.
