Knockaround Sunglasses becomes official eyewear partner


SAN DIEGO, April 28, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Knockaround and Capstone Races are pleased to announce that Knockaround, San Diego’s original and affordable sunglasses and lifestyle brand, will be the official eyewear sponsor from the Bay to Breakers 12K 2022. Held in San Francisco, the iconic Bay to Breakers race is a glorious celebration of the human spirit. This year, the 111th annual event will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2022.

As part of Knockaround’s sponsorship, the brand will inject its own personality into the energy of Bay to Breakers. A dedicated Knockaround aid station will feature volunteers dressed in Magnum PIs, sharing their sweet, tropical vibes with participants on the course. At the Finish Line Festival, you’ll also have the chance to take a groovy team shot with a retro VW bus and potentially win Knockaround sunglasses for a year by swinging at the Piñata Farm (taking mini piñatas with pool noodles).
