Etteplan Oyj: Technical communications specialist to help the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency produce high quality guidelines

Etteplan won the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency (FTIA) tender for structural content production and expert technical communication services. The duration of the agreement is 3 + 2 years. The expert work to be acquired includes information planning, technical writing and illustration, as well as content publication. Etteplan will also oversee the associated tools and processes.

A new way to produce, reuse and publish content

The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency produces numerous documents which are used to guide and support its cooperation partners and expert consultants. The joint project between Etteplan and the FTIA will make it possible to develop a content production process that meets future needs and a development program that will serve as a roadmap for the future production of digital content.

At the same time, it will be possible to create new ways of publishing the Agency’s guidelines and other content on web pages and mobile applications so that the same content can be published on many channels. Communication.

“Our goal is to harmonize and eliminate redundancies, as well as to produce content that reflects the look and style of the FTIA. As an end result, we will standardize the ways of producing, reusing and publishing content. This co-operation project with Etteplan promotes the ongoing initiative of the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency for more efficient production of guidelines and other content.
