Belle Glos Love Letters encourages everyone to dedicate a love letter to the people you value the most
Napa Valley, California (October 5, 2021) – The past year opened people’s eyes a lot – it made them appreciate the places they frequented easily, the people they could kiss without a second thought, the things they could do without restrictions. Fifth generation winemaker Joe Wagner and owner of Belle Glos, and acclaimed novelist Nicholas Sparks encourage everyone to write a love letter dedicated to the people they cherish most. Launch just in time for the 25e anniversary of Nicholas Sparks’ most famous novel, Notebook (1996), Belle Glos collaborated with luxury stationery, Dempsey & Carroll, to create limited edition Belle Glos Love Letters stationery kits. The limited edition kit will include personalized Belle Glos stationery, a personalized pen, wax in classic and easily recognizable Belle Glos red, and a personalized wax stamp, all housed in the classic Dempsey & Carroll navy box. An additional offer is the limited edition kit with three Belle Glos wines of his choice.
âAfter going through an unprecedented chapter in our lives, we have learned to cherish our relationships more than ever before,â says winemaker Joe Wagner. âI created Belle Glos in 2001 as a love letter to the land, to Pinot Noir, and to my family, especially my grandmother Lorna Belle Glos Wagner. Hope you are inspired to do the same, be it about your favorite restaurant halfway around the world, the love of your life, or your favorite hobby.
The Belle Glos Love Letters program was born after a year of not being able to enjoy the things we love most. According to aggregate data from location analysis company Cuebiq, as of early March 2020, residents of the United States restricted their movement outside the home as the coronavirus spread and stayed away. interior throughout the duration of the pandemic. Americans have spent almost an entire year indoors, away from the people, places and things they love most. By teaming up with Dempsey & Carroll and Nicholas Sparks, Joe hopes people will take a moment to recognize their loved ones.
Handwritten letters are rare in this digitally driven world. The United States Postal Service reports that we are sending 4.3 billion fewer letters and cards than in 2001, a decrease of 61% from when e-mails and texts were not not the main means of communication. However, a Gallup poll found that 94% of Americans like to receive a letter or card in the mail.
âI firmly believe in the power of a handwritten letter,â says Nicholas Sparks. âMany of my novels, Notebook To Every breath, introduced letters as a way for the characters to share their feelings and deepest connections. Although our thoughts and memories may fade over time, writing words on paper keeps them intact. I am delighted to partner with Belle Glos and Dempsey & Carroll in this initiative to preserve and promote the art of letter writing. After all, a letter is yours forever.
Nicholas Sparks is one of the world’s most beloved storytellers. All his books have been New York Times best-selling books, with more than 105 million copies sold worldwide, in more than 50 languages, including more than 75 million copies in the United States alone. Best known for his romance novels including, but not limited to, Notebook (1996), An unforgettable walk (1999), Dear John (2006), The last song (2009), and The longest journey (2013), his novels have also been adapted for cinema in particular, The choice, the longest ride, the best of me, a refuge, an unforgettable walk, the notebook, dear John, and more. Looking ahead, Sparks is excited to release their next novel, The wish, and recently shared the news that earlier this year the feature film rights for one of his much-loved novels, The return, have been acquired.
