situation and prospective development. President Viktor Yanukovish\\\'s
proposition he made at the meeting with his Kazakhstan colleague that
concerns the construction of the joint grain terminal on the Black Sea

Ukrainian part such complexes should be of capacity no less than 4-5M t
per year, otherwise the game is not worth the candle…

Milestones of National Shipbuilding
Yuriy Alekseev, the executive director of UKRSUDPROM Association,
tells in the article issued in the column Shipbuilding and Shiprepair
what the situation looks like in this industry. In 2009 the production
volumes of shipyards amounted to 2.9M UAH (+20.2% comparing to 2008).
As to the sold products, the results are even more positive: 4.3M UAH,
plus 68.5% on year-to-year basis. However, despite those brilliant
figures the situation in the industry remains complex...
